Riverfront walking paths

Thiruvananthapuram Municipal Corporation, riverfront walking paths can be planned along existing rivers, canals, and drainage streams inside the city and nearby expansion areas. The city has two major rivers (Karamana and Killi) and several canals and urban streams forming the drainage network. Below is a planning list of locations where riverfront / canal-side walking paths could be created or expanded.

1. Karamana River Corridor

The Karamana River flows about 66 km from the Western Ghats to the Arabian Sea near Kovalam and passes through several parts of the city.
