  • Structural Stability Certificate (from licensed engineer)

  • NOC from Local Authority (Municipality/Corporation)
  • Pollution Control Board Clearance (for industries)
  • Previous Fire NOC (for renewal cases)

2. Types of Fire NOC

You may apply based on your requirement:

  • Provisional Fire NOC – Before construction
  • Final Fire NOC – After construction completion
  • Renewal Fire NOC – For existing establishments
  • High-Rise / Commercial / Industrial Fire NOC

3. Step-by-Step Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Documents

  • Collect all required documents listed above
  • Ensure building plan is approved by local body

Step 2: Online Registration

  • Visit Kerala Fire Department portal (state e-services)
  • Create user account (Name, Mobile, Email)
  • Login with credentials

Step 3: Fill Application Form

  • Select Fire Safety NOC Service
  • Enter:
    • Applicant details
    • Building details (height, floors, usage)
    • Occupancy type (residential/commercial/industrial)

Step 4: Upload Documents

  • Upload scanned copies:
    • Building plan
    • Ownership proof
    • Fire system layout
  • Ensure files are clear and in required format (PDF/JPEG)

Step 5: Pay Application Fee

  • Pay prescribed fee online (based on building size/type)
  • Save payment receipt

Step 6: Application Scrutiny

  • Fire Department reviews documents
  • May request corrections or additional documents

Step 7: Site Inspection

  • Fire Officer visits the site
  • Checks:
    • Fire extinguishers
    • Hydrant system
    • Emergency exits
    • Alarm systems

Step 8: Compliance Report

  • If issues found → applicant must rectify
  • Submit compliance report after corrections

Step 9: Approval & NOC Issuance

  • If compliant → Fire NOC issued
  • Download digitally signed certificate

Step 10: Renewal (if applicable)

 Important Conditions

  • Fire NOC is mandatory for high-rise and commercial buildings
  • Validity period usually 1–3 years
